Chosen for #YEGCanvas!

We went to see my #YEGCanvas Billboard on Saturday! It’s on the corner of 99 Street and 60 Avenue in Edmonton, AB. This is so dang exciting! Please get out there and take photos and selfies with my Billboard and tag #YEGCanvas

I am honoured the Edmonton Arts Council has chosen two of my images for this exhibition. The second image will be in the 2nd or 4th rotation.

#YEGCanvas 2016 offers a fantastic opportunity to put yourself in the picture with selfies, social media posts, blogs and shares. The artworks change every eight weeks – 10 different billboard images will be displayed each time, and 15 posters will move along the Capital and Metro LRT lines.

The Whyte Avenue Art Walk is one of Edmonton’s most popular summer art events. Each year over 400 artists take to the street to show off their talent and creations.  With so many talented artists, it can be hard to enjoy all the art in one short weekend. So, in 2011, we created a holdover show to allow a select few to display their work with us once the hustle and bustle of the weekend is over. This annual show provides viewers with the opportunity to relive the Whyte Avenue art walk and take a closer look at the art the Art Walk has to offer.
